一、头寸交易

头寸交易是一种较长期的交易方式，你可能会持有数周甚至数月的单子。根据这种交易策略，你的交易时间框架通常是日线或者周线。

这类交易者在交易中非常依赖基本面分析，比如非农、GDP数据、恐怖数据等。不过，他们也会根据技术面分析来确定最佳的入场和出场时机。

举个例子：假如你分析过欧元兑美元的基本面，并且是看涨该货币对。但是，你认为当前的价位不是好的入场时机。那么你就要等到欧元兑美元到达支撑位后才入场。如果你的分析是对的，你就可以快人一步，在新趋势最先开始的时候入场。

二、波段交易

波段交易是一种中期交易策略，你的持仓周期在几天到几周不等。交易的时间框架通常是1小时图和4小时图。

作为一个波段交易者，通常会捕捉市场中的单一趋势。这类交易者通常的做法有以下几种：在支撑位做多、在阻力位做空、在突破处、回撤处、或在移动平均线反弹处进场交易。

三、日内交易

日内交易是一种短线交易策略，这类交易则的持仓周期通常很短，一般都是以分钟或者小时来计算。交易时间框架通常是5分钟或者15分钟的K线图。这类交易策略跟波段交易有点类似，但它的交易频率更高。

作为一名日内交易者，最重要的就是捕捉盘中的波动。这也意味着这类交易者通常在一天内行情波动最大的时候行动，因为波动对他们来说就意味着赚钱机会。他们在入场点的选择上跟波段交易者有点类似，通常也会找一些支撑位和阻力位，不过所看的K线图的周期不同。

下面举个美元兑加元的例子：在4小时图上，美加在1.29位置有一个阻力位。如果价格不能突破它，后面的走势的概率会下跌。

四、超短线交易

它还有一个不是很雅的名称——剥头皮交易，它的英文名称是Scalping。放在外汇市场中的意义就是“通过多次操作，逐渐获取并积攒微小的盈利”。

Rayner Teo表示他本人不建议普通交易者采用这种交易策略，因为交易成本会慢慢蚕食掉你的利润。并且与机器人相比，人们有一个不可弥补的劣势——反应比不上电脑。这种交易策略对速度的要求极高，持仓时间可能只有几分钟甚至几秒钟。
